Sarah has over 20 years of experience within the construction industry, including more than 10 years specialising in health and safety and the Principal Designer (CDM) role. Sarah has worked across both contractor and consultancy environments. Sarah’s project experience covers residential refurbishment, new-build developments, fire and concrete remediation, education, renewable energy, commercial, retail, and hospitality. She currently works as a Senior Principal Designer (CDM) at Airey Miller Ltd, supporting clients and design teams to integrate health and safety into projects from concept through to completion. Sarah is also actively involved in delivering internal training and mentoring, sharing her knowledge and practical experience to support the professional development of colleagues.

Alongside her professional role, Sarah is passionate about driving positive change within the industry through her involvement with the Safety Net Foundation. She is committed to encouraging and supporting people entering the health and safety profession, helping them develop and thrive throughout their careers. As part of the Foundation's Women in Safety initiative, Sarah has spoken on industry panel discussions, championing greater diversity and inclusion and advocating for a more inclusive construction and health and safety sector where women can succeed and progress.
