Welcome to the APS Academy
The Association for Project Safety is pleased to introduce the APS Academy, a new learning and development hub created to boost competence across key areas of Health and Safety and Building Safety risk management, alongside the launch of its first series of courses covering specialist subjects.
This is a next milestone in APS programme of enhancing services to our members, and those delivering duties across the Association’s agenda, to support them on their ongoing professional development journey.
Designed to close skill gaps and support ongoing professional development, the Academy's initial series of three courses cover topics essential for CDM practitioners to add to their competency profile.
About the courses
The first three courses in the APS Academy are:
- Fire Safety in the CDM Pre-Construction Phase (England)
- Temporary Works for CDM
Practitioners - Building Regulations (England)
All courses are:
✅ CPD-certified
✅ Completed with a timed assessment to demonstrate understanding and application with accompanying certificate.
✅ Developed and delivered by leading industry experts and peer reviewed by APS members.
✅ Provide non-members with points towards APS membership
Whether you're a duty holder, (principal) designer, or construction professional, the APS Academy is here to ensure you’re competent, compliant, and confident in your role.
