Protecting your workers from construction dust
Presented by George Elliott - Monday 2 October 2023
About the Event
Awareness of the dangers of construction dusts, including Respirable Crystalline Silica, are thankfully continuing to be better appreciated by the construction industry. Education from organisations such as the Construction Dust Partnership, the Health and Safety Executive and IOSH (through their No Time to Lose campaign) have certainly aided with understanding of the dangers. However, now is not a time to be complacent!
Join Respiratory Protection Specialist, George Elliott from the 3M Personal Safety Division as he reinforces the deadly risks of construction dusts before providing guidance on how to combat and control workplace exposures. With an array of respiratory protection available, George will outline the considerations to make when it comes to product selection, training and maintenance.
