Peter Waxman

National Members Representative Group (NMRG )

I have been a member of the Association for Project Safety for 25 years and an RIBA chartered architect for over 35 years.

I sit on the CONIAC Keeping Pace with Change Working Group and am a former member of the APS London Regional Committee.

I consider that the work we undertake, and the direction that our association takes, is vitally important.

We perform a crucial role within our industry by working with project teams to ensure that the technical design issues which have the potential to cause harm are reviewed, in order to work towards eliminating hazards and risks.

I believe passionately that what we need to work towards as individuals, and within the APS, is to use our skills knowledge and experience to utilise the H&S/CDM approach as a tool to assist in refining and developing the design and construction process.

Following the Grenfell tragedy, the work that we do is, more than ever, both necessary and sought after by other construction professionals.

I will continue with the work I have undertaken over the years, protecting, and promoting the work and values of the APS and its members.
