About the Event

Tension or Union? Can we achieve both without compromise?

Safety and sustainability are top of the construction industry agenda as we battle climate change and address the pressing issues from the Grenfell enquiry.

Patrick Hayes’ responsibilities at the IStructE cover both safety and sustainability.

As industry reforms itself to meet these challenges. He will address whether one objective should take priority, or if can we meet both goals together.

Can the same tools be used to meet both goals?
