About the Event 

Meet the South West Regional Committee and South West Regional members together and have an open discussion around Temporary Works.

The presentation will include the basic requirements of integrating Temporary Works into a project. Key sections will be

• Outline the Temporary Works Legislation
• Examples of Temporary Works
• Review examples and discussion on where temporary works have created challenges for a construction project
• Attendees invited to share their experience and ask questions

Duncan Soper, Associate Director Waterman Infrastructure and Environment

Duncan has over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry. With wide-ranging knowledge gained from working in many different sectors including, industrial, commercial, energy and manufacturing.

Duncan’s clients appreciate his thorough working knowledge of the entire construction process, including design and future maintenance requirements and unusual projects e.g. Siemens Gamesa on their new off shore turbine factory in Hull and West London Health Trust on the new Broadmoor Hospital.

Current projects include long term regeneration projects in London at Meridian Water Canada Water and Purfleet and DFE framework for Modular Schools
