About the Event 

UK Men’s Sheds Association (UKMSA) are presenting a brief history of their organisation, to capitalise on building communities based on learnt skills, how they help their members and what they provide in respect to health and wellbeing of men. 

Our speaker will be discussing how Sheds get started and run, their needs of support from organisations, local authorities, and the benefits Men’s Sheds give back to the local community.

Gerry Johnson, Ambassador, UK Men's Sheds

Gerry has set up multiple sheds and is an advocate for the charity. 

Gerry is a a trustee and one of the founders of the Hayling Island Men’s Shed which started in late 2015 and became its first elected chairman in February 2016.
