If not treated correctly, asbestos is a killer. The harmful effects on health, predominantly respiratory health, have been known for many years however thousands of people are still dying every year, predominantly due to latency.
Whilst processes are in place to identify the presence of asbestos so that it is not damaged releasing dusts, asbestos can be hidden.
In this webinar Philip will share current data on the magnitude of health harms from asbestos, the processes that should be used to identify and eliminate or manage the risk and situation where people can get caught out
