Project: Circle Square - a new build mixed use commercial development for offices, retail units a hotel and car park.

Circle Square is a mixed-use city-centre project in Manchester bringing offices, apartments, shops, bars and restaurants together with green spaces.  External cleaning and maintenance are integral to the project. Working at height has been an issue due to proximity to the Mancunian Way flyover. Temporary works had to be designed allowing for suitable vehicle and pedestrian access. To ensure safety, robust communication strategies were implanted alongside processes to improve communication along with close working with the client so changes were negotiated and implemented where they count. The sharing of pre-construction information and regular meetings with the design team design team and separate Construction Design Management (CDM)  workshops embedded CDM into the design, alongside tailored reporting with key information kept stakeholders in the loop.
