The Principal Designer, BIMsafe and PAS1192-6 

Dave Carr, Managing Director, Callsafe Services Limited & BIMsafe Limited presents on the benefits that the Principal Designer can achieve by working on a project that is performed using BIM, complete with the implementation of PAS1192-6 will be discussed, together with the solution to compliance with PAS1192-6 provided by the BIMsafe application. This application embeds symbols into 3D Models, which are linked to the Design Risk Register of all designers, the Temporary Works Register and the contractors’ risk assessments and method statements. BIMsafe also identifies the issues that are relevant to the asset or facilities manager post-construction and forms part of the health and safety file.
