Topic: Health
About the Event
This webinar will focus on the risks of over exposure to UV/sun, how to prevent skin and reduce those risks and highlight the need for early detection and skin surveillance.
This advice is applicable for all, but more so for those that work outdoors. A key factor for skin cancer education is cascading it to the frontline worker.

Skcin's primary objectives are to:
Raise awareness of skin cancer through education, promoting prevention and early detection.
To engage higher risk target groups via bespoke educational initiatives.
To ensure the continued development, longevity and participation in our national accreditation schemes.
To campaign for change, make a difference and save lives.
Everything we do at Skcin is aimed at educating and raising awareness on the subject of sun safety and the early detection of skin cancers in order to save lives. We are particularly keen to work with 'at risk groups', (those that are particularly susceptible to the dangers of over exposure to UV by the nature of the activities they carry out) and with children where we can see the greatest impact being achievable.
We are always busy developing our comprehensive resources, spreading the sun safety message, distributing literature and running campaigns with our partners.
