National CPD webinar - General Health

Date: Thursday 24 March 2022
This was an on-line event.
Topic: Education and training

About the event

Managing health risks is no different to managing safety risks. The law places duties on all those involved in construction work and managing health and safety in the workplace. You cannot properly control health risks without first having clear plans in place and everyone has a role to play.

The session will look at planning, identifying health hazards and assessing the significant risks and how to communicate to and involve the workforce.

Clear plans are no good if you do not act on them, the sessions will look at prevention and controlling any remaining risk along with the requirement of training.

You may already have the right controls in place but are they all working as they should be, the sessions will look at supervision, maintaining controls and monitoring to ensure they are effective and the requirement to act accordingly.
