London webinar - Digital Design and Construction – BIM and the Health and Safety File

Date: Thursday 17 February 2022
This was an on-line event.
Topic: Dust

About the Event

To keep pace with change, the Construction Division of HSE has invested time and research into understanding how modern digital technologies can benefit standards of health and safety on construction sites. The benefits are not just for the largest projects, projects of modest size can benefit from the improved precision of design, and ability to enhance collaboration within project teams that information modelling provides. BIM, properly applied, helps Building Safety Act and CDM duty holders to meet their responsibilities.

This CPD will help give attendees a better understanding of how BIM can aid the development and retention of information required under CDM and the Building safety Act.

About the speaker - Gordon Crick

Gordon has been with the HSE since 1992. Prior to this time, he had his own construction company for 8 years and so has a vast amount of experience from both perspectives. Gordon chairs the BIM 4 Health and Safety Working Group which developed PAS 1192 Pt6.
