Kizzy Augustin, Partner with White Collar Crime & Investigations Group
Kizzy Augustin is a Partner in the White Collar Crime & Investigations Group and heads the Health and Safety practice. A Solicitor Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience, she has significant experience in defending companies, senior directors and employees in corporate manslaughter and serious fire / health and safety prosecutions.
Kizzy provides strategic advice to corporate clients - both contentious advice in response to an actual incident, as well as preventative consultancy advice in relation to corporate policies and procedures and providing training to Boards and senior directors on their H&S compliance responsibilities and how they can mitigate legal and reputational risk. She appears regularly as an advocate in court proceedings, employment tribunals (for appealing Improvement and Prohibition notices) and Coroners' inquests.
Kizzy has recently received the honour of being listed on the Best Lawyers UK list for Health and Safety (voted by her peers). Kizzy was also recognised by The Legal 500 Directory (2022/23) as a “Leading Individual” in health and safety, as well as one of the Top 15 top H&S influencers in the UK by SHP.
