About the Event 

Designing housing is going to become increasingly complicated with the introduction of a range of new building standards over the next few years.

Changes have and continue to be made to the energy section of the building regulations which will need to be integrated and aligned with the design and will heavily shape what buildings will look and feel like to live in.

MAST Architects will run through the proposed changes to Section 6, Energy, of the new Building Regulations that will come into force in December 2022 as well as providing an overview of what future changes may be introduced in 2024 as we move towards zero gas in new buildings.

By outlining the proposed changes step by step highlighting MAST Architects will hopefully provide a better understanding of the implications of these changes all the war from construction through to cyclical maintenance.
