APS Launches New Learning Hub: The APS Academy

The Association for Project Safety (APS) is proud to announce the launch of the APS Academy – a dedicated learning and development hub designed to strengthen competence across key areas of health and safety and building safety risk management.

This marks an important milestone in APS’s ongoing programme to enhance services for members and support professionals with their continuing professional development.

Closing skills gaps and building competence

The APS Academy has been created to address skill gaps, provide specialist knowledge, and support those carrying out duties across the Association’s agenda. Its first series of courses focus on areas essential for CDM practitioners to build and demonstrate their competency profile.

The first APS Academy courses

The Academy launches with three specialist courses:

  • Fire Safety Regulations for CDM Duty Holders (now open for booking)
  • Temporary Works for CDM Practitioners (coming soon)
  • Building Regulations (England) (coming soon)

Why choose the APS Academy?

All APS Academy courses are:

✅ CPD-certified

✅ Delivered with a timed assessment and certificate of achievement

✅ Developed and reviewed by leading industry experts and APS members

✅ Offer non-members CPD points towards APS membership

Whether you’re a duty holder, principal designer, or construction professional, the APS Academy provides the tools and knowledge to ensure you remain competent, compliant, and confident in your role.
