Principal Designer and Design Risk Management (3 day)

This APS accredited course aims to provide delegates with an awareness and understanding of the roles of a designer and principal designer under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 along with undertaking successful design risk management during a project on how to identify and manage health and safety risks, and on the design strategies to be followed.

The course spends considerable time exploring case studies, undertaking design risk reduction workshops to bring CDM 2015 to life. The course over three days is intensive, utilising two trainers so that candidates receive a highly personalised learning experience.

It is specifically aimed at individuals wanting to take on the Principal Designer role and those within the construction industry who wish to improve their knowledge, understanding and ability in practical design risk management while achieving a professional and benchmarked standard, as set by APS.
