Speakers: Sofie Hooper & Mark Snelling

This session is aimed at large organisations managing complex operations and regulatory environments. Sofie Hooper and Mark Snelling will explore advanced considerations for applying ICC Principles and IFTG guidance on competence management, including governance structures, risk management, and demonstrating accountability at scale so organisations meet the competence requirements under the Building Regulations 2010 (As Amended). While the ICC principles originated to meet the requirements of the regulations in England, the principles and methodology captured in both guidance documents can be used to manage competence in organisations across the UK.
