To maintain membership of APS every member is required to gain at least 24 CPD points in the previous year with points credited for various undertakings including attendance at seminars, preparation of seminars, self-certified reading etc.
Members will self certify their CPD compliance by declaration at membership renewal.
APS will carry out random sample checks of member CPD activity. Members who are selected will be required to submit their CPD record within one calendar month of the request being made. The member's CPD record may be further queried by a follow up telephone interview.
Members should keep their own record or log of CPD activity bearing in mind that they may be required to submit a copy of their record to APS as part of random sampling.
