Principal designer: the how and the what

The event will cover:
•    A recap on what the PD is required to do
•    What delegates can do to achieve their objectives
•    How delegates should interact with members of their design team and other people involved in the project
•    The importance of asking the right questions.
Delegates should come to the event with a clear knowledge of the statutory requirements as this cpd event will go beyond what they are. 
The event will also be an introduction to the Effective Communications and Co-operation Techniques CMaPS exam

About the speaker
Philip Baker is a trained Designer and has been heavily involved in CDM since 1995. Philip has worked on a wide range of projects as CDM-C and has advised the full range of duty holders on how they can discharge their duties effectively. He has supported a number of public and private clients to prepare for the changes that their organisations might make in response to CDM2015. Amongst his current commissions Philip is the Principal Designer working for London Underground on the Northern Line Extension.
Philip is a Past President of the Association for Project Safety, a Certified Fellow and the current Chair of the APS London Regional Committee.”
