Occupational Health

Preventing occupational disease through design is of key importance to designers as over 100 construction workers die every week from diseases they contracted at work.

This CPD session from Philip Baker will give delegates the opportunity to understand how they can make a huge difference in this area.  The session will give an overview of the topics that designers need to consider when undertaking their design, and the practical things they can do to prevent the occupational environment causing illness and death.
