DRM Discussion Forum

This is an inclusive event. Student members, incorporated members, certified members and fellows do not pay a charge to attend this event.

About the event

Design Risk Management is the essence of the designer role when considering the health and safety of the workers who will execute designs. It is therefore also at the heart of the Principal Designer role. But what is it, and more importantly what is the current thinking about how to deliver designs that are safe to build without adverse impact on worker health, so far as is reasonably practicable.

This event provides you with a distinguished panel who will help to get some clarity about what designers need to do. Each panel member will make a 5 minute presentation and then you will have your chance to ask questions to aid your understanding of what you need to do in your practice. This is a collaborative event with designers and other CDM practitioners discussing the art of Design Risk Management and practical implementation, whilst sharing post festive season drink and bites.
