Membership CPD Requirements

We are committed to maintaining our position as the leading membership organisation in the UK for shaping and sharing good practice in construction health and safety risk management. 

It is important that all our members demonstrate to industry that their knowledge, skills and experience are as up-to-date as they can be.    

It is a condition of our membership that members commit to a programme of Continuing Professional Development.

Our Membership Department carry out random monitoring of a sample of members' CPD every month. You will be contacted directly if you are selected. 


Required CPD Standards

To maintain membership of APS every full member is required to gain at least 24 CPD points. Find out more. 

What counts as CPD?

APS recognises most CPD programmes that are relevant to the work that a member carries out and relates to construction health and safety risk management.
